Prof. Dr. Daniel J. Henderson from the University of Alabama already visited the University of Passau in December 2022. He will spend two months at the Chair of Statistics and Data Analytics (Prof. Dr. Harry Haupt) and in cooperation with the Computational Statistics and Mathematics Teaching Unit (Dr. Joachim Schnurbus) working on the project "Dynamic nonparametric multidimensional panel data models with application to migration flows across Europe".

Prof. Dr. Normann Witzleb from the Chinese University of Hong Kong will start a two month research stay at the Chair of Public Law, Media Law and Information Law (Prof. Dr. Kai von Lewinski) from the beginning of June on the topic "Privacy and data protection in relation to artificial intelligence technologies: Evaluating the potential and effect of EU legislative initiatives for the Asia-Pacific region".

Prof. Dr. Claudia Sadowski-Smith from Arizona State University will spend a total of three months this year and next as a visiting scholar at the Professorship for American Studies/Cultural and Media Studies (Prof. Dr. Karsten Fitz) researching on the project "Inequality, the Welfare State, and the Racialization of Post-Soviet Migrants in Germany and the United States." She will begin her fellowship at the end of June with a one-month stay.

We are delighted that they have chosen the University of Passau for their fellowship and look forward to interdisciplinary, collaborative work and networking. We wish them a pleasant and enriching stay!
